Fire prevention has been representing for years a hinge point for the safety of people and things especially in industrial area, and you can’t leave this element out of consideration There are a lot of different solution for the protection of spaces and structure, with different type of fire-extinguishing system. In this script is exposed the design, the execution and a data collection of different real-case test, that were done in the testing site of AZG Antincendio srl. The aim is to demonstrate the efficiency and the effectiveness of a high foam expansion system with automatic fire detection and a sprinkler system ESFR (Early Suppression Fast Response). Another important element is the organization of a certain background. The simulated background is a rack storage with high staking, where the principal combustible are paper, that is a typical application for this kind of system. At the end of this work, the reached results are presented and are also analysed the intervention time, the shutdown times and the trend of the temperature that was obtained during the test of both systems. These results are the basis for the comparison previously illustrated.
La prevenzione incendi rappresenta da anni, specialmente in ambito industriale, un punto cardine per la salvaguardia di persone e cose ed è al contempo elemento da cui non si può prescindere. Esistono numerose e differenti soluzioni per proteggere i locali e le strutture, con diverse tipologie di impianto antincendio e di estinguente. In questo elaborato viene esposta la progettazione, l'esecuzione e la raccolta dei dati di diverse prove in scala reale che sono state eseguite all'interno del campo prove di AZG Antincendio srl. L'obiettivo è dimostrare, su uno specifico scenario, l’efficienza e l’efficacia di un impianto a schiuma ad alta espansione con rivelazione incendio automatica e un impianto sprinkler ESFR (Early Suppression Fast Response). Lo scenario simulato è quello di un magazzino ad elevato impilamento, contenente per la maggior parte materiale cartaceo, tipica applicazione per questo tipo di impianti. A conclusione di questo lavoro vengono presentati i risultati ottenuti per entrambi gli impianti, analizzando principalmente i tempi di intervento, i tempi di spegnimento e l’andamento delle temperature durante le prove; tali risultati sono alla base del confronto precedentemente illustrato.
