The project started with the analysis of the big area of the Idroscalo in Milan, an artificial lake, originally constructed as a seaplane airport in 1926. The necessity was to connect the Segrate Station FS to the new stop of Linate M5. After analyzing the four major parks of the city ( San Siro, Parco Nord, Parco Lambro and Parco Forlanini), it comes out that the Idroscalo’s area is very well connected but not very popular. Today, there are a lot of recreational activities, but still not enough. After making a poll we discover that the people could be interested in a new place to practise sport but right now the area is not attractive. Our aim is to create a new space for everybody where you can practice different sports, like: rugby, swim, skate and climbing. There is a strong connection between the building and the enviroment, because all the activities inside try to be in touch with it. It is a long walk from Segrate Station to the Linate stop, with different scenaries and different sports. The building is 400 meters long and it is situate in the west side of the lake. Basically there are : one big building and four smaller for each sport. Following the order we can see: rugby field, two pools (one for childrens and the other for adults), one skate park and different pavillion for the climbing gym. All the buildings are constructed on modules wich follow the rule of 6 meter for 6 meters.
