The development of Chinese historical villages is a hot topic in China. Since China is a quite large country, the factors of buildings are totally different in different regions of China. The thesis selects a typical historical village, named as Meishan (Zhang Zhou, Fujian) with quantity of high quality “Hakka” architectures. The research starts from the concept of “ the Asian Mediterranean”. As a result, the thesis has the basic research of the evolution of the navigational routes in Asian area, especially the ancient “Silk Road on Ocean”. The references are the analysis of the ancient famous ports cities in the East Asia. And then the thesis also provides the information of analysis in Jiulong River containing the information of Yuegang harbor, which is an important harbor in Zhangzhou. From the research, the urban structure of Meishan village is quite clear. The thesis does the research of the water structure, the road systems, the landscapes and the ancient villages in the south parts along the Jiulong River. Then the analysis of the typology of historical buildings is also necessary. There are a lot of types of ancient architecture named as “ Cuo” in this area. The thesis classifies all the ancient buildings in different types. Based on all the research, the projects aim to provide more active function in the village. The projects contain a library around the most important historical building and mountain, a market around the river and residential blocks. The thesis mainly introduces the residential blocks in Meishan. The residential blocks want to provide private yards for every family to have a better organized dwelling space.
Lo sviluppo dei villaggi storici cinesi è un tema caldo in Cina. Poiché la Cina è un paese abbastanza grande, i fattori degli edifici sono totalmente diversi nelle diverse regioni della Cina. La tesi seleziona un tipico villaggio storico, chiamato Meishan (Zhang Zhou, Fujian) con quantità di architetture "Hakka" di alta qualità. La ricerca parte dal concetto di "Mediterraneo asiatico". Di conseguenza, la tesi ha la ricerca di base dell'evoluzione dei percorsi di navigazione nell'area asiatica, in particolare l'antica "Via della seta sull'oceano". I riferimenti sono l'analisi delle antiche città portuali famose nell'Asia orientale. E poi la tesi fornisce anche le informazioni di analisi nel fiume Jiulong contenenti le informazioni del porto di Yuegang, che è un importante porto di Zhangzhou. Dalla ricerca, la struttura urbana del villaggio di Meishan è abbastanza chiara. La tesi fa la ricerca della struttura idrica, i sistemi stradali, i paesaggi e gli antichi villaggi nelle parti meridionali lungo il fiume Jiulong. La tesi presenta principalmente i blocchi residenziali in Meishan. I blocchi residenziali vogliono fornire ai cantieri privati per ogni famiglia uno spazio abitativo meglio organizzato.
