Abstract As we know the Temporary urban interventions have been long used in our urban system. Accompanied by the problem of urbanization in different regions, these interventions could also transform into different solutions for the different problems that appearance in different country. The purpose of this research is to analysis the different country’s urban background, and experiment the urban temporary solutions as an assistance tools to works with the new district development plan in cities .The aim is to understand that we also can use the temporary solutions to solve the problem appearance in the new districts development, at the same time with the local city characteristics/ The research will work with the new travel district development concept plan that mention by Li Jiang government, and cooperation with JOYON real estate group’s development strategy. Based on real situation and data from local to explore the possibility and forms of the temporary urban interventions could be used in Li Jiang city. The research will be following 7 parts: 1. To analysis the urban design development history from both European country and China, to understand better the problems that caused from traditional long-terms concept urban plan, in case to find out common and different problem from both European country and China has. 2. To research the structure and feature of Temporary urban solutions, analysis the different element belong to the temporary urban solutions. Especially research the time influence the space function and the citizens as an important role to influence the environment, conclude the Temporary urban solutions as an assistance tool that can solve the short terms problem that brings by the long terms urban strategy. 3. List the different types of the Temporary urban spaces as study cases to understand better the background of these projects. Follow the analysis to learn the process of design an temporary urban spaces, and how they take the advantage or avoid disadvantage of local situations. 4. Based on the data and concept provided by the Li Jiang government and real estate group to detail analysis the Li Jiang environments, culture, local material etc. Shows the interview of locals research results. Digging the city character in different layers. And finally confirm the function and type of this project will be a temporary market depends on the research results. 5. List the different type of the market in China and Europe try to find the difference and common, looking for the advantages and disadvantages and try to combine with the Temporary urban solution together. 6. Depends on the previews research and data, design an temporary market to solve parts the jobs issues of the people who will be demolishing during the new district development, and also improve the travel experience to the traveler who wants to experience the local cuisine and culture. Based on part 4 to find the right symbol to link with the local. In case to protected and improve the local character in the proper forms. 7. At last conclude how the temporary urban solutions localization, and working on the developing area. In this case the Shu He old town will be the start point of this new plan.
Sommario Come ben sappiamo, gli interventi urbani temporanei sono stati a lungo sfruttati nel sistema urbano. Accompagnati dal problema dell’urbanizzazione nelle differenti regioni, questi interventi possono anche trasformarsi in soluzioni per i diversi problemi che appaiono nelle differenti nazioni. Lo scopo di questa ricerca è di analizzare i differenti background urbani delle varie nazioni, e sperimentare le soluzioni urbane temporanee come strumento di assistenza per il piano di sviluppo dei distretti cittadini. Lo scopo è di dimostrare come sia anche possibile adottare soluzioni temporanee per risolvere il problema dell’aspetto dei distretti in sviluppo e, allo stesso tempo, mantenere le caratteristiche locali proprie della città. Questa ricerca lavorerà sul programma di sviluppo del nuovo distretto turistico menzionato dal governo di Li Jiang, e in cooperazione con il gruppo d’investimento JOYON per la parte di sviluppo strategico. Li Jiang fornisce un ottimo esempio, in quanto lo studio di tale città permette di basarsi su situazioni e dati reali provenienti da persone locali, e riferirsi a forme di interventi urbani temporanei effettivamente realizzati. La ricerca seguirà 7 parti fondamentali: 1. L’analisi della storia dello sviluppo del design urbano sia Europeo che Cinese, per meglio comprendere i problemi causati dal tradizionale concetto di piani urbani di lungo periodo, in modo da trovare problemi, sia comuni che differenti, in Europa e in Cina. 2. La ricerca della struttura e delle caratteristiche delle soluzioni urbane temporanee, analizzando i differenti elementi che caratterizzano tali soluzioni. La ricerca vuole focalizzarsi specialmente sull’influenza temporale e la funzione delle spazio e dei cittadini come ruolo determinante per condizionare l’ambiente, dimostrando come le soluzioni urbane temporanee possano essere lo strumento di assistenza necessario che può risolvere i problemi di breve termine apportati da piani urbani di lungo periodo. 3. Elencare i diversi tipi di spazi urbani temporanei come caso di studio per poter meglio comprendere il background di questi progetti. Tale analisi porta a capire il processo di design di uno spazio urbano temporaneo, e come questo possa portare vantaggi, o evitare svantaggi, di situazioni locali. 4. Comporre un sommario basandosi sui dati e i concept forniti dal governo di Li Jiang e dal gruppo di investimento JOYON, per avere un dettaglio analitico sull’ambiente di Li Jiang. Obbiettivo è creare una panoramica sulla sua cultura e i materiali locali attraverso risultati di interviste condotte in loco, rivelando così la città nei suoi differenti strati. Da tale analisi infine si può confermare la funzione ed il tipo di questo progetto, orientato nello sviluppo di un mercato temporaneo, in quanto solo dall’analisi del contesto si potranno comprendere i vincoli in fase di realizzazione 5. Elencare i differenti tipi di mercati urbani in Cina ed Europa, in modo da poter trovare similitudini e differenze, comparando vantaggi e svantaggi e combinando tali aspetti assieme alle soluzioni urbane temporanee. 6. Collegato ai risultati della precedente ricerca, progettare un mercato temporaneo per risolvere una parte dei problemi lavorativi dovuti alle persone sfrattate a causa delle demolizioni orientate alla creazione del nuovo distretto, e migliorare inoltre l’esperienza di viaggio per i turisti che vogliano sperimentare la cucina e cultura locale. L’obbiettivo in questo caso è, basandosi sui risultati del punto 4, trovare i giusti simboli per collegarsi con gli abitanti del luogo, proteggendo e migliorando le caratteristiche locali nella giusta forma. 7. Concludere infine nella proposta di locazione delle soluzioni urbane temporanee e lavorare sull’area di sviluppo.
