Our project locates at one of the most attractive tourists spots Como. Como has stood at the south point of the Como Lake for centuries with history. Our site is chosen at the lakeside. The project is a recontruction of the left wing of Como Stadium which starts from the concept of following the city texture and scales of famous buildings surrounded. Its scale is controlled to less than three-story height. Meanwhile, it follows axises of city and stadium. Functions are seperated into boxes and then be connected by corridors and exhibition slope. The building is meant to built as a community centre therefore the city function and local function are considered to be gathered under one wooden structure roof. The view from the lake is also an important stating point for our design. The boxes are mainly facing the lake in order to inroduce scenery.
