Impianto termale tra acqua e parco : riconfigurazione della sponda meridionale dell'Idroscalo di Milano

The project is located in the Idroscalo park, on the south bank, near an existing entrance with parking. It provides for the re-qualification of the bank, with the insertion of a thermal system and the relocation of the paths and parking. The designed thermal system comes from the particularities of the land, which rises from the water and then descends to the parking lot. The project is located in the lower part, and rises at the end of the path to benefit from the view of the water and the mountains. The baths are organized on three levels. The building is characterized by a central spine that widens as it continues into the baths. A walkway allows us a higher path, which overhangs the pools, and allows you to reach an arm where the beauty and fitness rooms are organized on the first floor. Below the catwalk, there are small pools, emotional showers, Kneipp path that intersperse the path of the tanks, near the saunas and Turkish baths on the ground floor of the arm. The roof of the building, high in the middle, gradually lowers until it reaches the ground, creating solarium spaces under a low glass cover, which can be reached by descending three steps. They give access to three hypogeal rooms, intimate spaces for relaxation, which recreate the basic geometric shapes: triangle, round, square. The head of the building houses the treatment rooms, which conclude the spa path, before going up to the buffet area, from where you climb back to an outdoor walkway, which gives access to a solarium overlooking the Idroscalo and the panorama of the mountains. Structural studies have also been carried out, with the design of the glazed façade, which must be able to absorb the displacements of the cantilever roof, and of systems, with the calculations of the requirements in thermal and electrical energy, and the integration of the conduits 'air.

Il progetto si colloca nel parco dell’Idroscalo, sulla sponda Sud, in prossimità di un ingresso esistente con parcheggio. Prevede la ri- qualificazione della sponda, con inserimento di un impianto termale e la ricollocazione dei percorsi e del parcheggio. L’impianto termale progettato nasce dalle particolarità del terreno, che si alza dall’acqua e poi scende fino al parcheggio. Il progetto è situato nella parte bassa, e si alza alla fine del percorso per appro- fittare dalla vista sull’acqua e sulle montagne. Le terme si organizzano su tre livelli. L’edificio è caratterizzato da una spina centrale che si allarga man mano che si prosegue nel- le terme. Una passerella ci permette un percorso superiore, che sovrasta le vasche, e permette di raggiungere un braccio dove si organizzano al primo piano le sale beauty e fitness. Al di sotto della passerella, sono presenti piccole vasche, docce emozionali, percor- so Kneipp che intervallano il percorso delle vasche, accostato delle saune e bagni turchi presenti al piano terra del braccio. La copertura dell’edificio, alta in mezzo, si abbassa progressiva- mente fino a raggiungere il terreno, creando spazi di solarium sotto una bassa copertura di vetro, ai quali si accede scendono tre gradini. Danno accesso a tre stanze ipogee, spazi intimi di relax, che ripren- dono le forme geometriche di base: triangolo, tondo, quadrato. La testata dell’edifico ospita le sale trattamenti, che concludono il percorso termale, prima di salire verso lo spazio del buffet, dal qua- le si sale di nuovo verso una passerella all’aperto, che da accesso a un solarium con vista sull’Idroscalo e il panorama delle montagne. Sono anche stati effettuati studi di struttura, con la progettazione della facciata vetrata, che deve poter assorbire i spostamenti della copertura a sbalzo, e di impianti, con i calcoli dei fabbisogni in ener- gia termica ed elettrica, e l’integrazione dei condotti d’aria.
