Development of a business plan for 3Bee

This thesis is founded on the development of a business plan for an Italian Startup that has create an innovative IoT monitoring system for beekeeping. It is a non-invasive and self-sustainable device that empowers beekeeping best practices and supports the beekeeper to improve the bees’ health status, due to the integrated tools of predictive analysis, by reducing the usage chemical treatments. The purpose of the presented document is to define a structured business model coherent with the company strategy, by covering all the relevant points of a business plan: products and services, business model, strategic objectives, and marketing, operational and financial plans. This document will serve 3Bee to present their project to new investors.

Questa tesi è basa sullo sviluppo di un business plan per una startup italiana che ha creato un innovativo sistema di monitoraggio IoT per l'apicoltura. Si tratta di un dispositivo non invasivo e auto-sostenibile che impulsa l’integrazione delle best practices per l’apicoltura e supporta l'apicoltore per migliorare lo stato di salute delle api, grazie agli strumenti integrati di analisi predittiva, riducendo l'uso di trattamenti chimici. Lo scopo del documento presentato è quello di definire un modello di business strutturato e coerente con la strategia aziendale, coprendo tutti i punti rilevanti di un business plan: prodotti e servizi, modello di business, obiettivi strategici e piani di marketing, operativi e finanziari. Questo documento servirà a 3Bee per presentare il loro progetto a nuovi investitori.
