The work thereafter presented is a summary of the work that I conducted at Safran repair shop to validate and to ameliorate the new pre-groove measurement procedure during my internship in the Engineering Support Service of Safran Repair Shop. The development and the validation of this procedure was a success, and it is was implemented in the plant in the beginning of January. This procedure permitted to save 5 days of turn-around-time for the treatment of the GE90-115 High Pressure compressor.
