Along with establishment of IFMA (International Facility Management Association), The Facility Management has been identified and applied systematically among developed nations, but some of the countries are catching the rhythm of the economic development trends and lack of consideration on the Facility Management Industry. The similarities between Facility Management and Property Management has also lead to confusion for apply them into businesses in some countries, such as in China. This research aimed at, first of all, to understand the general situation of Facility Management in China by evaluate some of the best and typical Facility Management providers. Then, summarize the research by SWOT analysis to discover the potential market and identify the possible barriers, hypothesis on the future development. Finally, to give proposals for overcome the barriers and exploit the potential market. With the second largest economy in the world and rapid development in the service sector, China is being the huge market for almost anything. After the research based on the economy of the overall provinces, it is noticeable that the East, especially Southeast part have concentrated economy that can be seen as the heart of the economic development of China. Most of the enterprises have chosen to locate into the busiest districts of the development region to seek for opportunity. That is the place where the best companies are positioned, and it is to say that the main business area which have high demand for Facility Management Services. Therefore, numerous building service providers have emerged in the region, among them TOP10 building service providers have identified. However, in order to achieve the purpose of the research, there are five typical Facility Management providers have analyzed by same approach. In fact, there are some surveys have been done by "Modern Property Management" officials in 2016, concerning the importance of Property Management and Facility Management in the view of managers, CEOs and professionals in the related field, that gives primary information about the concepts understood by entrepreneurs and willingness to apply the Facility Management services. Combine the result of analysis and survey, it is obvious that there is huge Facility Management market potential which are not yet covered by some of the best providers, and still have significant economic growth and considerable number of enterprises. Specifically, the city in far West region of China - Urumqi. In accordance with the last ten years of rapid development, growing economy, influx of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), government support and preferential policies, the city Urumqi has enormous potential market for Facility Management Industry at present and in the future. However, there might have some possible barriers for achieve the expectations. At the end of the research, there are some proposals for Facility Management providers to overcome the barriers and exploit the potential market.
Insieme all'istituzione dell'IFMA (International Facility Management Association), il Facility Management è stato identificato e applicato sistematicamente tra le nazioni sviluppate, ma alcuni Paesi stanno prendendo il ritmo delle tendenze dello sviluppo economico e della mancanza di considerazione sull'industria del Facility Management. Le somiglianze tra Facility Management e Property Management hanno portato anche alla confusione per l'applicazione in aziende di alcuni Paesi, come in Cina. Questa ricerca mira, in primo luogo, a comprendere la situazione generale di Facility Management in Cina valutando alcuni dei migliori e popolari fornitori di Facility Management. La ricercar ha evidenziato la presenza fornitori di servizi di costruzione nella regione, tra questi sono stati identificati i fornitori di servizi del settore costruzion, TOP10. Si sono selezionati cinque tipici fornitori di Facility Management analizzati con lo stesso approccio, al fine di completare i risultati della tesi. Sono stati condotti dei sondaggi da funzionari di "Modern Property Management" nel 2016, in merito all'importanza del Property Management e del Facility Management nella secondo: manager, amministratori delegati e professionisti nel campo, questo ha fornito informazioni primarie sul grado di consapevolezza dagli imprenditori e sulla volontà di applicare l'approccio di Facility Management ai servizi. Combinando il risultato di analisi e sondaggi, è emerso che esiste un enorme potenziale di mercato per la gestione delle strutture che non è ancora coperto da alcuni dei migliori fornitori e che ha ancora una crescita economica significativa e un numero considerevole di imprese. Nello specifico, la città nella lontana regione occidentale della Cina - Urumqi. In conformità con gli ultimi dieci anni di rapido sviluppo, economia in crescita, afflusso di investimenti esteri diretti (IED), sostegno governativo e politiche preferenziali, la città di Urumqi ha un enorme potenziale di mercato per l'industria della gestione degli impianti, attualmente e in futuro.
