The aim of the project is to infer a new service system for food retailers with IoT technology in Milan. The idea of this topic is generated from the latest trend of IoT technology. The implication and the consequences of IoT ’s development will build a big network and create new value for both consumers and businesses definitely in food retail field.The great value of IoT applications need to be reflected. They are creating opportunities for new, disruptive business models to emerge.And it ’s a good area for service designers to devote.So, I want to explore the innovative relationship between consumers, food retailers and IoT new technology including big data, artificial intelligence (AI) …and merge these into a service design framework. The food consumers in Milan is the targeting in the topic.This project investigates contextual and individual factors, considering the actual offers people’s life style, and other variables to create an attractive service, functional and ready to be applied.Through the design thinking, a complete PSS is developed involving new service concepts, system and branding.
L’obiettivo del progetto è quello di desumere un nuovo sistema di servizi per la grande distribuzione organizzata (GDO) con le tecnologie IoT. L’idea di questo tema deriva dalle ultime tendenze delle tecnologie IoT. Le implicazioni e le conseguenze dello sviluppo del IoT creeranno sicuramente un grande network e un nuovo valore sia per i consumatori che per le imprese, nel settore dei GDO. Il grande valore delle applicazioni IoT deve essere accuratamente riflettuto. Stanno creando opportunità per far emergere nuovi modelli di business dirompenti. Ed è una buona area da dedicare per i service designers. Quindi, voglio esplorare la relazione innovativa tra consumatori, GDO e le nuove tecnologie IoT tra cui big data, intelligenza artificiale (AI) ... e unirli in un framework di service design. I consumatori di Milano sono il target del tema. Questo progetto indaga i fattori contestuali e individuali, considerando le offerte attuali, lo stile di vita delle persone e altre variabili per creare un servizio attrattivo, funzionale e pronto per essere applicato. Attraverso il design thinking, viene sviluppato un PSS completo che coinvolge nuovi service concepts, system e branding.
