The revolution of innovation that is going through our age must be considered today as a disciplined science, which needs a systematic approach. Our context, characterized by commercial globalization and a scarceness of natural resources, the ability to innovate becomes a source of survival (Keeley, 2014). Following the Human-Centered approach, the proposed Innovation clearly focuses on a specific consumer segment, children with preverbal deafness, in order to respond to their needs in a refined manner. During the development of this research, a Gap was identified in the speech therapy process, which is determining for deaf children to develop communication skills. Despite the importance of the rehabilitative pathway, the speech therapists today do not have the possibility to monitor and follow their patients, if not directly during the meetings. A smart use of technology can in this case offer a support and can provide solutions for children and their educators. RIGO, therefore, proposes itself as a product / service system that offers new personalized play-educational activities for deaf children and a monitoring system for speech therapists, who can optimize their work. Because of the technological aspect that deals with collecting and processing data, RIGO is placed in the IoT (Internet of Things) market and it’s distinguished by the data collection obtained from the engagement of the child through the game and the use of digital devices.

Abstract
Because of the technological aspect that deals with collecting and processing data, RIGO is placed in the IoT (Internet of Things) market and it’s distinguished by the data collection obtained from the engagement of the child through the game and the use of digital devices.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
