Community hub._Former industrial site BASE renovation for optimizing social networking

The thesis investigates the concept of community hub and the relationship between its community in order to find the core value that can be renovated according to the nowadays situation. The project aims to explore how this traditional concept can be renovated and merged with the current situation, through the onsite researches and a design-thinking approach to develop a more functional system and a welcomed space that can strongly connect it with the surrounded neighborhood, therefore make a place that can meet the emerging trends and moreover the social-networking of the community improving the quality of engagement.

La tesi indaga il concetto di comunità hub e il rapporto tra la sua comunità al fine di trovare il valore di base che può essere rinnovato secondo la situazione di oggi. Il progetto si propone di esplorare come questo concetto tradizionale può essere rinnovato e fusa con la situazione attuale, attraverso le ricerche in loco e un approccio di design-pensare a sviluppare un sistema più funzionale e uno spazio ben accolto che puoi collegarlo fortemente con il quartiere circondato, quindi rendere un luogo che può soddisfare le tendenze emergenti e inoltre il social network della comunità migliorando la qualità dell'impegno.
