The objective of this thesis is to know, understand and implement the functions and the comfort of a motorcycle helmet. To this end, the first objective has a purpose based on driving safety, in terms of protection and prevention of distractions. The development of this project will be carried out using cutting-edge technologies such as Augmented Reality. There are not a few advantages that these technologies could introduce in vehicular driving, in the field of road safety. Just think of the fact that the user of the helmet will no longer be forced to distract from driving to consult the information it needs, but will have the opportunity to see them projected directly within its field of vision. All the information we are used to receiving from a common satellite navigator (or from our smartphone), will be available in the real vision of world that surrounds us quickly and intuitively. But not only that, it will also be implemented the possibility to project the data of your motorcycle, directly in the driver's view and the remote control of them. From the first objective, a second follows: the design of the helmet itself, with particular attention to the retention system. The second objective, in fact, is partly a consequence of the first one. This is because the introduction of equipment for augmented reality involves a study of volumes and, if necessary, the detachment from the classical shapes and volumes of a standard helmet. This "bond" has stimulated interest in a more comfortable approach to the retention system (commonly called a strap). The solution you want to propose wants to be innovative and aimed at simplifying all the actions that take place when you wear or take off your helmet. The third and last objective is the improvement of the air breathed by the user. Motorcycles, like other two-wheeled vehicles, do not protect the user from external pollution. It is therefore that an air quality system will be studied, using filters that have been appropriately installed and replaced over time.

Abstract
It is therefore that an air quality system will be studied, using filters that have been appropriately installed and replaced over time.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
