A postwar vision of Aleppo's public space network

Post-war architecture is a rather vital and sensitive issue that should be carefully studied. The city of Aleppo is one of the most affected and one of the most important cities in Syria. A Home to a Landscape of Heritage that is dated back to 6th Millennium B.C., Now in rubble. As reconstruction begins and conflict fades away, a pre planning and thinking must be done to find better life for an area that has much missed peace and basic life needs. A rational and deep understanding is essential for proposing solutions, an understanding of the context and the problem. Public spaces are the nucleus to a dialogue between people amongst themselves and the remains of their city, the symbols and heritage of the city are the base to rebuild the city upon.
