The San Raffaele Hospital in Milan represents an excellence at a national level and a point of reference, as well as for medical care and assistance, also in terms of innovation and research in healthcare. From this point of view, the Integrated Risk Prevention and Control Plan in hydraulic systems has been developed to minimize the presence of pollutants, both chemical and biological, in the workplace, minimizing these risks for operators and patients, based on the model of Water Safety Plans (WSP) developed in the WHO. One of the main themes dealt with in this document is the risk reduction of Legionella, which despite the continuous improvements made over the last decade following the ISS guidelines and the comforting results of the analyzes carried out on the water, is always a source of risk for the Hospital. Through ALBA, Artificial Logic Bayesian Algorithm, a program able to represent the universe of possible scenarios present in a complex process, considering the logical and stochastic constraints present in reality, we analyzed the phenomenon of Legionella development within the system water supply of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, headquarters of Via Olgettina, with the aim of reducing it. The analysis of the system and of the available data made it possible to identify the critical components of the process and the types of events most related to the generation of Legionella in the system. We therefore identified possible operational solutions with the aim of reducing the risk of Legionella, with changes that could lead to a further significant reduction of Legionella risk within the structure.

Abstract
We therefore identified possible operational solutions with the aim of reducing the risk of Legionella, with changes that could lead to a further significant reduction of Legionella risk within the structure.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
