A huge complex of landslides, developed during past and recent history, characterizes the Canelles Reservoir, in the Spanish Pyrenees. It started being studied after that some reactivation events developed, as consequence of the drawdown of the water level in the reservoir collected by the damn. In this thesis, the possibility that, due to the lowering of the water level, one of the landslides starts moving and accelerates rapidly, wants to be analysed. In order to do this, it is not sufficient to use common FEM procedures, but the problem will be implemented in a MPM one.

Abstract
A huge complex of landslides, developed during past and recent history, characterizes the Canelles Reservoir, in the Spanish Pyrenees. It started being studied after that some reactivation events developed, as consequence of the drawdown of the water level in the reservoir collected by the damn. In this thesis, the possibility that, due to the lowering of the water level, one of the landslides starts moving and accelerates rapidly, wants to be analysed. In order to do this, it is not sufficient to use common FEM procedures, but the problem will be implemented in a MPM one.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
