URBAN FOOTWEAR GENERATION - extreme comfort and creativities

A shoe is not a garment, but it has an intimate connection with the body. It is not a piece of jewellery, but it can be understood as adornment.Having a pair of comfortable shoes is higly-demand for fast-paced modern life.The extreme comfort is not only the combination of materials and technologies,but also the design conceptinnovation.This thesis will mainly analyze based on the timeline of footwear style design development, and have a deep discussion about how lifestyle influence on the trend of wearing shoes as well. The research start with an exploration of perfect sensor between foot and foowear,which influences our foot comfort everyday. Including the introduction of general foot problems and ways to solve these problems towards specific footwear. And there is a part about Chinese syle comfort.In Chinese medicine , there is a connection between each acupuncture points of foot with body, it is helpful to think about TCM could be an interesting element on shoes design, and make it in a funky way.And this part also discuss some functional cases that inspired by Chinese foot acupressure,it is proved that diversity of culture are influencing footwear industry, as well as design. This chapter aims to have a better understanding about foot and shoes comfort .In the second chapter, i want to draw attention to pick some iconic trendy examples of comfortable stylish shoes for different occasions, and these representative design are divided to different categories following the trend . It also explains the variety of technologies and materials for each design.In the third chapter, i decide to focus on minimal shoes and sock-like shoes developments,which shows how the fashion side influence the innovation on footwear design.And analyze lightweight materials and natural shapes they applyed on bare footwear design that make foot comfortable and free. With the combination about urban workouts and lifestyle,as to get connection with my project design.You can find my project design in the fourth chapter. It should be noted that we wear shoes not just for comfort,but also to demonstrate our social status, as well as fashion. The plurality of shoe styles was especially striking in these decade,when practical flat, combat boots and fashioniable sneakers showed up. We will expore the social and psychological significance of various kinds of shoes based on comfort sensibility.

Il massimo comfort non è solo la combinazione di materiali e tecnologie, ma anche il design conceptinnovation.Questa tesi analizzerà principalmente in base alla cronologia dello sviluppo del design di stile delle calzature, e avrà una discussione approfondita su come l'influenza dello stile di vita sulla tendenza di indossare scarpe. La ricerca inizia con un'esplorazione del sensore perfetto tra piede e piede, che influisce quotidianamente sul comfort del piede. Spiega anche la varietà di tecnologie e materiali per ogni design. Nel terzo capitolo, decido di concentrarmi su scarpe minimali e sviluppi di scarpe da calza, che mostrano come il lato fashion influenza l'innovazione nel design delle calzature. E analizza i materiali leggeri e forme naturali applicate su calzature nude che rendono il piede comodo e libero. Con la combinazione di allenamenti urbani e stile di vita, come ottenere il collegamento con il mio progetto di design. Puoi trovare il mio progetto nel quarto capitolo.
