In recent decades, the population of European has changed dramatically, the birth rate has continued to decline and the number of available skilled labor has decreased significantly. It is difficult for companies to recruit and retain employees with appropriate skills and qualifications. The current working conditions also make it difficult for young people to balance work and family in a satisfactory manner. The lack of effective policies to resolve work-family conflicts will cause major problems for society, businesses, families, men and women. The design analyzes and researches from the cultural background, family policy, work environment, family user requirements, commercial feasibility, and other aspects.Design for All concept was introduced at the beginning of the process and it promoted inclusive design as much as possible. Regardless of age, gender, ability or cultural background, they can participate equally in social, economic, cultural and leisure activities. It also summarizes the principles and methods of Design for All in creating family-friendly workplace products. I chose office public space facilities as the key point for design, and discuss how products can better integrate the needs of family members (older people, children), employees, and companies, increase the degree of product inclusion and flexibility and comfort of products, remove obstacles and improve their quality of life. Design eases the conflict between work and family care between young people, families and companies, helps prevent social inequalities and long-term conflicts between generations, strengthens the family’s social and economic reliability and reduces risks while at the same time it can enhance staff motivation, reduce the turnover rate of personnel, maintain and increases productivity as much as possible under limited economic conditions. It will be highly cost-effective in the long run.
Negli ultimi decenni, la popolazione europea è cambiata radicalmente, il tasso di natalità ha continuato a diminuire e il numero di lavoratori qualificati disponibili è diminuito in modo significativo. È difficile per le aziende assumere e mantenere dipendenti con competenze e qualifiche appropriate. Le attuali condizioni di lavoro rendono inoltre difficile per i giovani bilanciare lavoro e famiglia in modo soddisfacente. La mancanza di politiche efficaci per risolvere i conflitti lavoro-famiglia causerà gravi problemi alla società, alle imprese, alle famiglie, agli uomini e alle donne. Il design analizza e ricerca dal background culturale, dalla politica familiare, dall'ambiente di lavoro, dalle esigenze degli utenti familiari, dalla fattibilità commerciale e da altri aspetti. Il concept di Design for All è stato introdotto all'inizio del processo e ha promosso il design inclusivo il più possibile. Indipendentemente dall'età, sesso, abilità o background culturale, possono partecipare allo stesso modo alle attività sociali, economiche, culturali e di svago. Riassume anche i principi e i metodi di Design for All nella creazione di prodotti per la famiglia adatti al lavoro. Ho scelto le strutture degli uffici pubblici come punto chiave per la progettazione e discuto su come i prodotti possono meglio integrare le esigenze dei membri della famiglia (anziani, bambini), dipendenti e aziende, aumentare il grado di inclusione dei prodotti, la flessibilità e il comfort dei prodotti, rimuovere gli ostacoli e migliorare la qualità della vita. Il design facilita il conflitto tra lavoro e assistenza familiare tra giovani, famiglie e imprese, aiuta a prevenire disuguaglianze sociali e conflitti a lungo termine tra generazioni, rafforza l'affidabilità sociale ed economica della famiglia e riduce i rischi, mentre allo stesso tempo può migliorare la motivazione del personale, ridurre il tasso di rotazione del personale, mantenere e aumentare la produttività il più possibile in condizioni economiche limitate. Sarà a lungo termine altamente redditizio.
