Thirdly, the paper introduces two case studies in order to compare different approaches towards the definition. This way, the paper provides a critique of the classical definition and extends its with new components which will then be named as ‘Ecovillage 2.0’. In the last part of the thesis, the paper comprehensively explains the actions that need to be followed through the process. This way, a promotion of easy and ready to apply solutions to a town with certain problems are aimed and the idea of healing the living environment through promoting an ecological way of living is proposed.
