Mechanical characterization of tough hydrogels

Preparation of alginate hydrogels. Mechanical characterization of the prepared hydrogels to study their mechanical behaviour and to evaluate some of their mechanical characteristics. Study of the effects that some external variables have on the mechanical behaviour and on the mechanical characteristics of the tested hydrogels.
