In particular, different types of existing shading have been considered and, starting from many scientific articles’ results, adequate systems have been developed for the building. Specifically, it has been evaluated the Illuminance, the daylight factor, the glare probability, the solar gains and the useful daylight illuminance performances and the obtained results were compared in order to define, among those proposed, the optimal configuration.

Abstract
The following research deals with the study and optimization of natural light in a museum. After having elaborated the project from an architectural point of view, suitable parametric solutions have been developed to allow the optimization of building in terms of daylighting. One of the fundamental objective of the thesis was verify that the internal space was functional for any type of artistic fitting, ensuring a certain flexibility to the different exhibition requirements. In particular, different types of existing shading have been considered and, starting from many scientific articles’ results, adequate systems have been developed for the building. Specifically, it has been evaluated the Illuminance, the daylight factor, the glare probability, the solar gains and the useful daylight illuminance performances and the obtained results were compared in order to define, among those proposed, the optimal configuration.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
