Self-driving society 2030. Urban space flow : design For floating population

In 2030, the self-driving will be totally popularized. The people life style will be change a lot. The thesis mainly research on the urban space construction transformation in the context of large amount of self-driving vehicle putting on the urban environment. Since the vehicles are becoming self-driving, the inner space of the vehicle is more like a natural，undefined，flowing space. In this sense, the urban space which itself contains the moving space is changed from the traditional one. Moreover, the aggregate of these flowing space will become a relatively large scale space flow which can move around the fixed，static urban space. With the new influent space flow ,different opportunities can be created for the the traditional urban space. What the thesis will achieve is to try to give out some initiation or ideas about this new form of urban space.The term “floating population” is derogatory in China. It means aimlessly drifting population from one place to another, mostly from countryside to big cities to look for jobs. This group of people is called an “unauthorized population flow”. The term hints at the risk of social instability. This “floating population” has special terms and is marked with demeaning characteristics such as bad personal hygiene, instability, and threats of dangers to others. They all hold a dream and look for opportunities when they flow from their hometown into big cities.The thesis also aiming to explore solutions by using the new type of urban space flow. Change the situation of human flowing to space flowing.

Nel 2030, l'auto-guida sarà totalmente popolare. Lo stile di vita delle persone sarà cambia molto. La tesi principalmente di ricerca sulla trasformazione di costruzione dello spazio urbano nel contesto della grande quantità di veicoli auto-guida mettendo sull'ambiente urbano.
