Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a chronic progressive degenerative disease characterized by cognitive dysfunction, affective disorder and abnormal mental behavior in the elderly.which greatly affects the lives of patients and brings serious harm and heavy burden to patients' families and society. The world's attention to the social phenomena caused by this disease and disease is getting higher and higher. Currently,there is no cure for Alzheimer's disease.previous studies have highlighted the therapeutic role of interior, inside the framework of Non-Pharmacological Therapies, design of the physical environment can be recognized as an important aid in the care of Alzheimer's disease patients.For Alzheimer's disease patients the environment should be so arranged that maximize use of cognitive capacities of Alzheimer's disease patients that are intact and compensate for those cognitive capacities that decline. Treatment in a non-pharmacological therapies manner aims to improve the quality of life to treat the disease symptoms. The purpose of this study was to analyze how design can promote well-being.The project comprises a modular space designed to host four different activities: gymnastics,music,video and aromatherapy.
L'Alzheimer è una malattia degenerativa, progressiva e cronica, che si manifesta prevalentemente negli anziani. È caratterizzata da disfunzione cognitiva, disturbo affettivo e comportamento mentale anormale, il quale influisce notevolmente sulla vita dei pazienti e può comportare gravi danni e un grosso peso sulle famiglie e sulla società. Le problematiche sociali causate da questa malattia e la malattia in sé stanno attirando sempre più l'attenzione globale. Attualmente non ne esiste ancora una cura effettiva. Gli studi precedenti hanno messo in evidenza come l'effetto terapeutico dell'interior design, cioè della progettazione dell'ambiente, nella circostanza della terapia senza farmaci, possa essere considerato da appoggio importante nella cura dei pazienti di Alzheimer. Per gli stessi, l'ambiente dovrebbe essere organizzato in manieta tale da massimizzarne la capacità cognitiva e compensarne il declino intellettivo, migliorando così la qualità della vita dei pazienti mediante terapia non farmacologica. Lo scopo di questo studio è di analizzare come l'interior design promuove la salute. Il progetto comprende uno spazio modulare studiato per ospitare quattro diverse attività: ginnastica, musica, video e aromaterapia.
