In recent decades, the national dental sector has witnessed a progressive development of franchising facilities, often characterized by low costs; moreover, unlike other sectors of Italian health, the dental one has undergone a series of changes concerning the territorial coverage, the internal organization and the type of building adopted. In the face of these changes, in a short period of time, there has been a migratory phenomenon towards foreign structures, which has triggered a dangerous domino effect leading to the closure of several small / medium companies unable to cope with competition. However, to the development of low-cost franchise facilities, a sociological response was paid which still shows the link between the Italian patient and the “trusted dentist”; this relationship is evident from the predominance of private studies in Italy. From the picture emerged at national level, it was decided to undertake a study aimed at private structures, in an attempt to grasp not only socio-economic aspects, but also a possible link with architectural and management issues. Analytical questionnaires, analysis of building and financial typologies, were the tools that led to a systematization of the topic, in order to bring out the strengths and weaknesses of existing structures and propose a management model hypothesis. A model of this kind is probably already present in the Italian dental subdivision, but it is still little considered: as in the case of the eighth included, always present, but struggling to emerge.

Abstract
A model of this kind is probably already present in the Italian dental subdivision, but it is still little considered: as in the case of the eighth included, always present, but struggling to emerge.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
