Thesis in which we analyze the behavior of a historical monument under the action of an earthquake. The models that allowed the analysis were developed using a laser scan of the inside and outside of the building. From the first analyses, the behaviour of the existing building was calculated and, subsequently, on the basis of the criticalities found, improvements were made by inserting tie rods. It is important to underline that issues such as the difficulty of obtaining the mechanical characteristics of the materials were also addressed.
Tesi in cui si analizza il comportamento di un monumento storico sotto l'azione di un sisma. I modelli che hanno permesso l'analisi sono stati sviluppati grazie ad una scansione laser della parte interna ed esterna dell'edificio. Dalle prime analisi si è calcolato il comportamento dell'edificio esistente e, successivamente, in base alle criticità trovate si sono eseguiti dei miglioramenti inserendo dei tiranti. Importante sottolineare come sono state affrontate anche tematiche come la difficoltà di ottenere le caratteristiche meccaniche dei materiali.
