In the last decade the distributed micro-generation – production of electric and/or thermal energy from only a energy source in lower amounts of 50 kWel – had a noteworthy increase in the market of energy. This happens because it reaches the european’s goals of production from renowable sources, higher efficiency systems and to satisfy the needs on site where common power plants can’t be used. The companies TOTEM ENERGY s.r.l. and Maya s.r.l. commissioned the Department of Energy of Politecnico di Milano to implement a micro-trigeneration system made of a cogeneration unit and a absorption refrigerator. The purpose of the experimentation is to achieve a system where the two units can communicate and to find the equilibrium point. Moreover to characterize the engine in a steady state operation at different temperatures of the cogenerator inlet water (35°C and 70°C) and to verify the performance of the refrigerator by comparing them with the theoritical ones.

Abstract
Moreover to characterize the engine in a steady state operation at different temperatures of the cogenerator inlet water (35°C and 70°C) and to verify the performance of the refrigerator by comparing them with the theoritical ones.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
