Our Thesis presents a systematic literature review of Supply Chain Management and Supply Chain Planning and Control of the lasts 10 years, from 2008 until today. It shows a picture of the current literature aiming to understand which kind of topics authors address, in which type of supply chain they analyze those topics, in which way they deal with them and which results they are willing to achieve. In order to do that, 95 scientific papers are gathered and were previously selected applying a precise screening process making use of the search engine SCOPUS. All the papers which have been analyzed are quantitative based papers, all of those use a simulation/optimization approach and mathematical models to prove through numerical results the consistency of the methodologies studied. What is done in this work is a classification of the scientific papers gathered, clustering them by dimensions i.e. the issue dealt by authors, the supply chain structure and the tools which have been used and performances evaluated. In order to identify all the possible dimensions we used the support of an excel database composed by all the information that we have extrapolated by papers and we built a Typology which make us able to classify and describe all the dimensions. Then the relationships between different dimensions are evaluated through a statistical methodology, making use of tables where occurrences are computed. This analysis enabled us to: understand where makes sense studying a particular issue, how to deal with it, how measure the model results and through which performances; to identify some gaps in the current literature and propose avenues for further research in this field.

Abstract
This analysis enabled us to: understand where makes sense studying a particular issue, how to deal with it, how measure the model results and through which performances; to identify some gaps in the current literature and propose avenues for further research in this field.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
