Among the methods used for geophysical surveys operations we find the electromagnetic methods which have been recently applied by the oil industry as they operate in a non-invasive way on the detection of hydrocarbon deposits. The surveys carried out using controlled electromagnetic sources, CSEM, provide in this scenario the precious contributions to the techniques of conventional geophysical surveys, which together with the seismic data allow a greater degree of precision in the studies. Strength of these non-destructive methods is the depth of penetration of the survey which can reach a few tens of kilometers, a capacity that has always aroused greater interest from companies operating in the industrial sector of gas and oil. It is therefore necessary to define and study the effectiveness of some qualitative methods of analysis of this type of data in order to determine the location of resistive anomalies in the ocean floor.

Abstract
It is therefore necessary to define and study the effectiveness of some qualitative methods of analysis of this type of data in order to determine the location of resistive anomalies in the ocean floor.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
