Impianto sportivo : Città Studi

This thesis has been elaborated dedicating at first to the analysis of the state of fact, the services and of all the essential features for the development of a project that wants to be coherent with the existing environment. The masterplan is characterized by a principle axis (Celoria st.) that represent the street on which the project is built. After several preliminary analysis the elements that have been inserted in order to satisfy the needs of students and citizens are: an auditorium, a library, a sporting center and students residents. Following these choices, the study is focused on the development of a polyvalent sporting center that aims to merge architecture and functionalities of a structure that communicates to users emotions and sensations, trying to increase the value of masterplan and of the university campus itself. The project has, as main features, the use of exposed brick, a double wall useful to accomplish the functional and architectural requests and so the gallery developed on two levels that merges all the sportive implant. The result of the project represents an implant that include several different functionalities always communicating through a universal language: architecture. Inside the project coexist technological, structural and system solutions that have been studied to support the nature of the buildings.

Questo progetto di tesi è stato elaborato inizialmente dedicandosi all’analisi dello stato di fatto, dei servizi e di tutti i caratteri essenziali per lo sviluppo di un progetto coerente con l’esistente e l’intorno. Il masterplan è caratterizzato da un’asse principale (Via Celoria) che rappresenta la via sul quale il progetto è stato costruito. Dopo alcune analisi preliminari, gli elementi inseriti per soddisfare i bisogni degli studenti e dei cittadini sono: un auditorium, una biblioteca, delle residenze per studenti ed un impianto sportivo. A seguito di queste scelte è stato deciso di focalizzarsi sullo sviluppo di un centro sportivo polivalente che si pone l’obiettivo di far coesistere architettura e funzionalità in una struttura che comunica ai fruitori emozioni e sensazioni, cercando di valorizzare il progetto del masterplan ed il campus universitario. Il progetto vede, come caratteristiche principali, l’utilizzo del mattone faccia a vista, un doppio muro che assolve a richieste funzionali ed architettoniche, così come un portico sviluppato su due livelli che connette nella sua interezza tutto l’impianto sportivo. Il risultato del progetto è un impianto che racchiude diverse funzionalità che comunicano sempre attraverso un unico linguaggio: l’architettura. Nel progetto coesistono soluzioni tecnologiche, strutturali ed impiantistiche studiate appositamente per supportare il carattere degli edifici.
