SIM-BIO-SYS. Simultaneity as a strategy for recovery and reactivation in the experimental project on Cava Valsora

The attitudes of human beings towards nature influence the harmony between them. We can consider this relationship as a circulation which has somehow lost the equilibrium nowadays with the growing ambition of human activities. This situation has brought the spread of a phenomenon of abusing the source of nature for human’s own needs and is causing a risk of unsustainable development of the whole circle. This occurrence is reflected in the activities of the exploitations of the territorial resource, whose consequence is the formation of undefined and unusable areas which had and however still has the opportunities for a future development. One type of human activity which encloses all these arguments is the mineral industry, especially in the case study of the marble quarry system in Tuscany, Italy.

Il comportamento degli esseri umani nei confronti della natura, da sempre influenza il rapporto inscindibile tra loro. Possiamo considerare questa relazione come un movimento costante, fatto di scambi reciproci, il cui equilibrio oggigiorno è stato messo a rischio dalla crescente ambizione delle attività umane. Questa situazione ha portato alla diffusione di fenomeni basati sull’abuso delle risorse naturali, causando un rischio di sviluppo insostenibile nei sistemi complessi. Allo sfruttamento delle risorse territoriali corrisponde la formazione di aree indefinite e inutilizzabili, che hanno avuto e tuttavia hanno ancora le opportunità per uno sviluppo futuro. Un tipo di attività umana che racchiude tali tematiche è l'industria mineraria, in cui spiccano per caratteristiche storico- paesaggistiche i bacini marmiferi delle Alpi Apuane.
