Rimessa per barche trasformata in abitazione : aspetti geotecnici

In this report we wanted to tackle a topic that was not dealt with in the course of the study plan, but which appears to be at the forefront of every project. Focusing on the geotechnical aspects required for modifyingan old building, used as a storage for boats, into a functional and aesthetically integrated house, Ihad the opportunity to consider the relationship between the building itself and one of the main elements with which it will interface, that is the soil. The presentation will consider the initial condition in which the old building was located and the main steps that led it to become how it is now. It will then continue summarizing the geotechnical design. Taking into account of the activities at the construction site, three different topics will be recalled, namely the construction of a retaining wall, the partial underpinning of the foundation system and finally the re-arrangement of the external area through the use of areinforced earth system. Nella presente tesi si è voluto affrontare un argomento poco trattato nel corso del piano di studi ma che risulta essere in primo piano in ogni progetto. Concentrando l’attenzione sugli aspetti geotecnici che hanno caratterizzato la trasformazione di un vecchio rudere, adibito a deposito per le barche, in un’abitazione funzionale ed esteticamente integrata nel contesto, si è andati a interpretare il rapporto tra la costruzione stessa e uno dei principali elementi con cui essa andrà ad interfacciarsi, il terreno. La relazione si svilupperà presentando lo stato iniziale in cui verteva lo stabile preesistente e le fasi che lo hanno portato a diventare ciò che ora è. Continuerà poi con l’analisi della progettazione geotecnica, suddivisa in tre capitoli che, seguendo l’ordine operativo di cantiere, riguarderanno la realizzazione di un muro di sostegno, l’intervento di integrazione di una base fondale e la sistemazione del lotto mediante un sistema di terre armate.
