Procurement digital transformation : Pirelli case study

The following thesis is the result of an internship at the Pirelli Tyre S.p.A., within the purchasing department. This project aims to describe and analyze the various phases of the purchasing digital transformation project of Pirelli. The case study is contextualized within an academic research on what are the emerging new technologies on the market and how they can be applied within companies' purchasing processes. This work describes in particular the various steps that led to the implementation of a new e-procurement platform.

La seguente tesi è risultato di un tirocinio presso l’azienda Pirelli Tyre S.p.A., all’interno dell’ufficio acquisti. Questo progetto ha come obiettivo quello di descrivere e analizzare le varie fasi che hanno caratterizzato il progetto di trasformazione digitale degli acquisti all’interno di Pirelli. Il caso studio è contestualizzato all’interno di una ricerca accademica su quelle che sono le nuove tecnologie emergenti sul mercato e come esse possano essere applicate all’interno dei processi di acquisto delle aziende. Questo lavoro descrive in particolare i vari step che hanno portato all’implementazione di una nuova piattaforma di e-procurement.
