Abstract
Since the Micro-Cogeneration Laboratory of the Department of Energy in Politecnico di Milano started to work it’s been improving the services provided and their competences, both at the managerial and technical level. This modern facility has been continuously refining and developing an effective testing system. The present work has allowed the verification of internally developed protocols and instrumentation that contributes to the performance analysis of the cogeneration units. The procedures adopted allow a verification of the temperature measurement and a control on the thermal power by means of an electric heater. In order to allow operators to be able to conduct an effective analysis of the acquired data, a criterion of acceptability of the individual tests was developed based on a statistical analysis. The results will be processed using Excel spreadsheets developed before this experimental campaign. The experimental campaign was carried out on a micro-cogenerative unit, performing an analysis of its performance, in order to verify the correct functioning of the entire system developed in the lab. Before this test campaign a system has already been developed using Visual Basic that allows the calculation of the significant figures of the values that will be reported in the test report. The project is the collaboration between Micro-Cogeneration Laboratory and the Gelsia Reti SRL, provides for a performance analysis of the micro-cogenerator EnGen 2500 in steady state, depending on the electric load at different cogeneration water inlet temperatures (400 C and 600 C) and the identification of operating parameters inside the cogenerator to obtain the improvement of the electrical performances. This experimental campaign was carried out following the laboratory's internal procedure. The characteristic values of the steady states were estimated using statistical inference techniques on the average. The tests carried out confirmed the goodness of the laboratory's internal procedure, as well as the reliability of the instrumentation which contributes to the performance analysis thanks to the development of verification protocolsFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
