The case study will be composed by an interview to an experienced professional on the matter. This and the previous systematic literature review are the foundations of the conceptual framework proposed. This framework is the main contribution of the present thesis and its advantages and drawbacks are explained. Finally, further improvements related to the interoperability of PLM and ERP systems are identified and the future trends on the topic will be introduced, concluding this way the thesis.
