The present report is about a case study concerning a photovoltaic self-consumption installation applied to the residential sector in Andalusia (Spain), just after the abolition of the controversial RD 900/2015 (popularly known as “Sun Tax”). It comprises the whole evaluation needed prior the system execution, completed by a software simulation by PVsyst®. Two types of systems have been considered, grid-connected (solely connected to the grid) and hybrid (connected to the grid and electrochemical storage), ending up comparing and discussing the results that each one of them has obtained. Briefly, the hybrid system shows a better technical and environmental performance, whereas the grid-connected one is better from the financial point of view.

Abstract

Two types of systems have been considered, grid-connected (solely connected to the grid) and hybrid (connected to the grid and electrochemical storage), ending up comparing and discussing the results that each one of them has obtained. Briefly, the hybrid system shows a better technical and environmental performance, whereas the grid-connected one is better from the financial point of view.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
