The world we live in has been built on a foundation of patriarchy, and this affects anyone who doesn’t identify with it’s traits. The largest group oppressed by this is women. In recent times with women’s rights movements these crimes against women has come to light and are slowly being fought back. One such context is India, one of the largest and fast growing democracies, which has it’s culture deeply rooted along with misogyny. To come to aid of these women who go about their daily lives, a study to understand the context, lives, habits and practices to develop a solution that could possibly aid and help the oppressed receive the aid they deserve. It is clear that this circle of oppression has prevailed for long in the culture, which meant there must be coping mechanisms which are not delivering to their needs. To understand this better, an study of what is available in the market to aid, and how effective they are. Furthermore, to understand where they fail to perform. From these observations an outline of requirements obtained gave a better sense of direction to the needed solution. A majority of which are how a solution works in this specific context. Furthermore, to understand the importance of nonviolence and focusing on providing the victims the help they require at an ill moment. A design to work towards a better world where women or anyone victimized by patriarchy would not have the need to look over their shoulder at every moment in fear of being assaulted. To spare everyone the stress, and breathe freely as one should.

Il patriarcato è alla base del mondo in cui viviamo, e questo influisce su tutti coloro che non si indentificano nei suoi tratti, il più ampio gruppo oppressò è quello delle donne. In questi ultimi anni con il movimento per i diritti delle donne questi crimini sono venuti alla luce e lentamente sono combattuti.
