KeyChange. Il login per il futuro

The current socio-technological paradigm follows a constant and exponential change and IT innovations seem to be the guide of the most important social changes in the coming years. The challenge we have to face therefore consists in knowing how to adapt at the same speed as these changes. Among the main actors of the most recent changes we certainly find the Vocal Assistants, Smart Products and the Internet of Things. An increasing number of intelligent products and services connected to them help us in our daily lives, trying to improve our experiences and simplify different aspects of modern life. Along with these advantages, however, various problems arise that need to be addressed. This project aims to help the user with two of the main difficulties: managing the numerous accounts necessary for the use of smart products and IT services (Google, Facebook, Microsoft, etc.) and the security regarding personal data that we share every day. KeyChange introduces a passwordless authentication service, based on the use of a wireless and short-range technology that uses encrypted access keys. It is an innovative product, which presents a new way of interaction between user and login, both for IT services via mobile devices and for home automation networks, exploiting the increasingly widespread Smart Speakers. It is a portable device, which invites the user to personalize the style and the way to carry it. The purpose of this project is to offer a product that helps the user to keep up with the most important digital changes, paying attention to the concepts of computer security and ease of use, trying to simplify the management of increasingly complex systems.

Il paradigma socio-tecnologico attuale segue un costante ed esponenziale cambiamento e le innovazioni informatiche si prestano a essere la guida dei più importanti cambiamenti sociali dei prossimi anni. La sfida che dobbiamo affrontare ricade dunque nel saperci adattare alla stessa velocità di questi cambiamenti. Tra i principali attori dei cambiamenti più recenti troviamo sicuramente gli Assistenti Vocali, gli Smart Products e, più in generale, l’Internet of Things. Un numero sempre maggiore di prodotti intelligenti e servizi a essi connessi ci accompagna nella nostra quotidianità, cercando di migliorare le nostre esperienze e di semplificare diversi aspetti della vita moderna. Insieme a questi vantaggi, però, nascono diverse problematiche da affrontare. Questo progetto si pone come obiettivo quello di aiutare l’utente nel rapporto con due delle principali difficoltà: la gestione dei numerosi account necessari per l’utilizzo di smart product e servizi IT (Google, Facebook, Microsoft, ecc.) e la sicurezza riguardante i dati personale che condividiamo tutti i giorni. KeyChange introduce un servizio di autenticazioni passwordless, basato sull’utilizzo di una tecnologia senza fili e a corto raggio che utilizza chiavi di accesso crittografate. È un prodotto innovativo, che introduce un nuovo modo d’interazione tra utente e login, sia per servizi IT tramite dispositivi mobili che per reti di domotica, sfruttando i sempre più diffusi Smart Speaker. È un dispositivo portatile, che invita l’utente a personalizzare lo stile e le modalità di trasporto. Lo scopo di questo progetto è offrire un prodotto che aiuti l’utente a stare al passo con i cambiamenti digitali più importanti, prestando attenzione ai concetti di sicurezza informatica e semplicità d’uso, cercando di semplificare la gestione di sistemi sempre più complessi.
