Iranian women have been encountered many challenges due to the socio-cultural situation in Iran society throughout history. Whether in familial status or citizenship rights. This fact leads to not participating as an active member of the community, although they make up almost half the population of Iran. However, Iranian society is in transition to the new era, and women demand their citizenship and humanitarian rights. According to the women social condition mentioned above, it is not surprising that addiction in women has been a taboo for many years and Over time, In recent years this taboo is being broken. Nowadays there are many drug rehabilitation centres and Non-governmental organisations focusing on addicted and recovered women from addiction and providing social and economic empowerment in Iran. In this thesis, through studying different NGOs in Tehran province it has been clarified, cultural, political and social challenges NGOs are facing in Iran, bring obstacles for them to empower recovered women socially and financially. In comparison with NGOs, Social enterprises and social businesses, concentrating on social values and have social concerns are more successful in economically empowering women. Relight as a social business aims to bring value for society while providing employment for women recovered from addiction through learning by doing methodologies to enhance their vocational skills.
Le donne iraniane hanno incontrato molte sfide a causa della situazione socio-culturale della società iraniana nel corso della storia. Sia in stato familiare o diritti di cittadinanza. Questo fatto porta a non partecipare come membri attivi della comunità, sebbene costituiscano quasi la metà della popolazione dell'Iran. Tuttavia, la società iraniana è in transizione verso la nuova era e le donne chiedono la loro cittadinanza e diritti umanitari. Secondo la condizione sociale delle donne di cui sopra, non sorprende che la dipendenza nelle donne sia stata un tabù per molti anni e nel tempo, negli ultimi anni questo tabù è stato rotto. Oggigiorno ci sono molti centri di riabilitazione dalla droga e organizzazioni non governative che si concentrano su donne tossicodipendenti e recuperate dalla dipendenza e che forniscono la riabilitazione sociale ed economico in Iran. In questa tesi, attraverso lo studio di diverse ONG nella provincia di Teheran, sono state chiarite le sfide culturali, politiche e sociali che le NGO stanno affrontando in Iran, portando ostacoli per consentire alle donne recuperate socialmente e finanziariamente di recuperarle. In confronto con le NGO, le imprese sociali, concentrandosi sui valori sociali e le preoccupazioni sociali, hanno più successo nell'emancipazione economica delle donne. Relight come un'impresa sociale mira a portare valore per la società, fornendo al contempo occupazione per le donne recuperate dalla dipendenza attraverso l'apprendimento facendo metodologie a migliorare le loro capacità professionali.
