The present research is the Thesis for my Laurea Magistrale at the Politecnico di Milano and my Bachelor’s degree at the University of São Paulo, as part of the Double Degree Program between both universities. It is the development of a project I have started at the Politecnico di Milano, during Professor Valentina Rognoli’s Designing Material Experience discipline, which consists of a new material made of pig skin. This work attempts to present the whole generation and development processes of this new material through the Material Driven Design method.
La presente ricerca è la mia tesi di Laurea Magistrale, presa sul Politecnico di Milano, e di Laurea all’Univesidade de São Paulo, nell’ambito del programma Doppia Laurea tra le due università. È lo sviluppo di un progetto che ho iniziato al Politecnico di Milano, durante la disciplina di Designing Material Experience, dalla professoressa Valentina Rognoli, che è un nuovo materiale fatto della pelle di maiale. Questo lavoro tenta di presentare l’intero processo di generazione e sviluppo di questo nuovo materiale attraverso il metodo Material Driven Design.
