As shown by ISTAT statistics in 2011, the greater part of buildings in Italy has been built up in the first half of the last century and for this reason measures of reclassification are needed due to their suboptimal conditions. One of the main topic about reclassification concerns the structure itself of the building, in particular how to consolidate the existing slab. Today in order to strengthen the slab, consolidating plates are placed on the external face of the slab and are interconnected between each other by means an interconnection system. This connection is made by using specific mechanical connectors but when it is not possible as in the SAP slab case, it is necessary to use other kinds of connectors such as chimical ones. This thesis aims to underline the chimical connector perfomances by comparing results achieved in laboratory with those obtained on-site. Results show that the chimical connector applied on-site is able to guarantee adherence among structural elements allowing the implementation of composite slab in order to increase performances of the existing slab.

Abstract
Results show that the chimical connector applied on-site is able to guarantee adherence among structural elements allowing the implementation of composite slab in order to increase performances of the existing slab.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
