Pasturo e(') memoria. Nuova vita per l'ex cooperativa

The title of the paper, Pasturo and (is) memory, suggests the main topic addressed by our thesis work: the main theme of the research is indeed memory, considered as an element capable of generating connections through time and space, strength driving force for the development of the country up to the present day. There are innumerable references to a past that can also live in the present with genuine gestures and love for this land. The territory of Pasturo conveys important values ​​such as the fundamental role of tradition thanks to which it is still possible to perceive the history of the country. One of the goals we set ourselves is to preserve the existing by avoiding its degradation and oblivion. It is our task to act through widespread and non-invasive interventions so as to guarantee the traditional character of the country. As mentioned the theme is the memory which, understood as an element which by its very nature is not something tangible but to be considered an integral part of the place that describes its past, is explored through the five senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste and tact. The cognitive investigations conducted, relating to the town of Pasturo, are therefore born of the inspiration to the five senses that have allowed us to grasp and graphically restore all those aspects that characterize the place with greater sensitivity. The product of the analysis is proposed within this elaborate and was the basis on which the widespread urban restoration project was inspired. The work is articulated in different phases starting from studies and analyzes related to the knowledge of the place with which one is confronted until reaching the project of conservation and reuse of the building, called the former Cooperative, object of study. Finally, the goal, also expressed in the subtitle "New life for the former cooperative", is to see the building return to being part of the fabric of the city, hosting new functions that can bring benefits to the surrounding area and greater usability of the same by citizens and tourists. The restoration project extends not only to the building but also to the urban context so as to create a direct dialogue between the town and the building. The aim is to bring out the value of the context in which we find ourselves by respecting and recovering the historical and cultural heritage. The design interventions are minimal so as to fit in a non-invasive and harmonious way in the context. Finally, through structural calculations, it was possible to carry out the structural verification of the building and propose a consolidation intervention of the floors.

Il titolo dell’elaborato, Pasturo e (‘) memoria, suggerisce l’argomento principale affrontato dal nostro lavoro di tesi: il tema cardine della ricerca è infatti la memoria, considerata come elemento capace di generare connessioni attraverso il tempo e lo spazio, forza motrice dello sviluppo del paese fino ai giorni d’oggi. Innumerevoli sono i riferimenti ad un passato in grado di vivere anche nel presente con gesti genuini ed amore per questa terra. Il territorio di Pasturo trasmette importanti valori quali il ruolo fondamentale della tradizione grazie alla quale è possibile ancora oggi percepire la storia del paese. Uno degli obiettivi che ci siamo poste è quello di preservare l’esistente evitandone il degrado e l’oblio. È nostro compito agire per mezzo di interventi diffusi e non invasivi così da garantire il carattere tradizionale del paese. Come accennato il tema trattato è la memoria che, intesa come elemento che per sua stessa natura non è qualcosa di tangibile ma da considerarsi parte integrante del luogo che ne descrive il passato, viene esplorata attraverso i cinque sensi: vista, udito, olfatto, gusto e tatto. Le indagini conoscitive condotte, relative al paese di Pasturo, nascono quindi dall’ispirazione ai cinque sensi che ci hanno permesso di cogliere e restituire graficamente con una maggiore sensibilità tutti quegli aspetti caratterizzanti il luogo. Il prodotto delle analisi viene proposto all’interno di questo elaborato ed è stato la base su cui si è ispirato successivamente il progetto di restauro urbano diffuso. Il lavoro si articola in diverse fasi a partire da studi e analisi riferiti alla conoscenza del luogo con cui ci si confronta fino giungere al progetto di conservazione e riuso dell’edificio, denominato ex Cooperativa, oggetto di studio. Infine l’obiettivo, espresso anche nel sottotitolo “Nuova vita per l’ex cooperativa”, è quello di vedere ritornare a far parte del tessuto della città l’edificio, ospitando nuove funzioni in grado di apportare benefici al circondario e maggiore fruibilità dello stesso da cittadini e turisti. Il progetto di restauro si estende non solo all’edificio ma anche al contesto urbano così da creare un dialogo diretto tra paese ed edificio. Lo scopo è quello di far emergere il valore del contesto in cui ci si trova con il rispetto e recupero del patrimonio storico culturale. Gli interventi progettuali sono minimi così da inserirsi in modo non invasivo ed armonico nel contesto. Infine, attraverso calcoli strutturali, è stato possibile effettuare la verifica strutturale dell’edifico e proporre un intervento di consolidamento dei solai.
