The rapid development of the experiencing times has put forward a new requirement for all fields of design. As an application discipline of communication design in space, the design of environmental graphic integrates the graphic design, the display design, visual design, interactive design and other disciplines to provide a new direction for the development of comprehensive design and the development of graphic design. The experiential graphic design is a new practice in the time of experience age. Experiential Graphic Design originates from the graphic design, which has been developed for nearly fifty years in western countries, while the study on Experiential Graphic Design in China has only arisen in the past ten years, which is limited into the traditional Environmental Graphics. Facing the rapid domestic economic development, domestic economic environment and the continuous improvement of living standards. The development of Environmental Graphic design industry in China has fallen into a dilemma of “demand exceeds supply”. This dilemma is especially obvious in the fields of Hospital Wayfinding, Brand Environment, and Public Art. A large number of template-guided design exposes the lack of consciousness of the professional design and the lack of outstanding design talents in this field. An exploration Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD, 1974) was put forward: XGD=EGD×IxD. This concept has launched a forward-looking exploration into the development of the future discipline of Experiential Graphic Design, and also put forward new requirements for the professionalism and comprehensiveness of the designers in the related fields. This paper aims at the development of the XGD field, Based on the relevant literature review combined with case studies at China and abroad, this paper aims at the development of the XGD field. Through the qualitative research of a questionnaire and a test of project practice, it puts forward the idea of building an XGD from the perspective of “Organic Architecture”. Exploring the design method of XGD. The research is divided into three parts: 1. The concept and status quo of XGD; 2. The organic space for XGD methods, and 3. the reflection of XGD from the perspective of Organic Space. Based on previous theoretical research and practical experience of later projects, it is concluded that the Design Strategies of "Borrow (借Jiè)", "Creat (造Zào)", "Guide (诱Yòu) ", "Circle (循Xún)" and "Communicate (问Wèn)" can be used to guide the design of Experiential Graphic experience. In addition, the author applied this design method to the Siping community project in Yangpu District, Shanghai. The practice of observation, re-test, re-analysis, and re-induction is beneficial to ensure its accuracy and re-examine its effectiveness. The domain designers provided design references and opened up new ideas for the exploration of future XGD and the construction of organic spaces.
Il rapido sviluppo dei tempi di esperienza ha avanzato un nuovo requisito per tutti i campi del design. Come disciplina applicativa del design della comunicazione nello spazio, il design della grafica ambientale integra la progettazione grafica, il design del display, il visual design, il design interattivo e altre discipline per fornire una nuova direzione per lo sviluppo di una progettazione completa e lo sviluppo della progettazione grafica. Il design grafico esperienziale è una nuova pratica nel tempo dell'esperienza.
