Bangalore is one of those places that makes you wonder if it’s real or not. The city has immense history and it is as much Indian as it is not. Now don’t get me wrong, because some fellow indians might get offended by the things that I am about to say in my Thesis. However Bangalore belongs to India and it’s 100 authentic Indian. That’s not what I was implying. As my heading speaks for itself and I am focusing only on one tiny bit of this Ginourmous city, imagine how many faces does this place poses. It can go from “wow, those type of inovations I haven’t even dreamt about, to wow is this still happening in the 21st century?” As I go along with my diploma project you are about to witness 2 completely different animals - a predator and a mammal (talking about the city), which somehow manage to live together, even making progress that any of the cosmopolitan cities around the world would envy about. The site itself has its unique kind of diversity, as we might expect from Bangalore. Each and every corner could be different to the one next to it. However this is not always a good thing. In our case it at least gives a good starting poing in understanding what we have to accomplish in order to improve things around or at least give a good start for a better change. Vrishabhavathi valley site is a place occupied by people, traffic and polution. The things that divides it into two separate halfs is the Vrishabhavathi river. It literally gives the places several distinctive zones, which do not tend to exist well together... Due to the fact that one of the major roads in Bangalore is part of the city, the place is full of colour. We have all kind of transportation and in the same time we have zero tolerance and connectivity. People with their “indian” mentality are used to doing whatever they feel like in every moment. What is more we have the not so desirable division, which we have in every fastest growing city in the developing world, to rich and poor. Even with the first impression the tension between those two fractions could be felt. And I am not speaking for a people that have a salary bellow average salary. I am talking about those kind of folks that could barely live by the things they earn each day. They live in informal settlements with a family of 5-7 people and every day is a survival at its finest. However this is not the main or one and only issue. The symbiosis of that diversity almost immediately gives birth to immense amount of garbage around the sity. The lack of sewage system and the fastest growing temps of the site, has made the place a living hell for the locals. There are no green areas, no clean water in the river, no connectivity and the situation is only going to get worse in the future.

Abstract
Vrishabhavathi valley site is a place occupied by people, traffic and polution. The things that divides it into two separate halfs is the Vrishabhavathi river. We have all kind of transportation and in the same time we have zero tolerance and connectivity.
