healthcare Facilities are one of the most important elements of any country`s infrastructure, and during the recent years The Egyptian Government had established a long term healthcare strategy is to achieve universal public healthcare for its entire people, especially those who are poor and most vulnerable, though the system is not universal as of present. The Egyptian healthcare system is a mix of public and private healthcare with a diverse range of financing and managing agents across the public, private and parastatal sectors, such as the governmental Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP). Emergency, curative and general inpatient care is facilitated by the MOHP, though there are also many private sector pharmacies, clinics and hospitals, and non-governmental, religious and charitable organizations which provide health services. As a measure of the difference between public and private healthcare, there are roughly 1,000 MOHP facilities and roughly 2,000 private facilities, though MOHP and other public and parastatal institutions far outweigh private facilities in terms of public usage. Hospital services are available throughout Egypt, including small integrated hospitals in rural areas, and district, general and specialty hospitals of all sizes, but the rural areas in Upper Egypt are still not at the same level of the services in Cairo and Lower Egypt, therefore that paper spots the light on some potential areas that could make a network of public Health care centers in Upper Egypt along the Nile river, then focusing more on one of the most vital locations in Upper Egypt which is New Gourna village in Luxor city, to be the location of a public Health care center.

Abstract

healthcare Facilities are one of the most important elements of any country`s infrastructure, and during the recent years The Egyptian Government had established a long term healthcare strategy is to achieve universal public healthcare for its entire people, especially those who are poor and most vulnerable, though the system is not universal as of present.
