Sacred is an Indo-European word that means "separated". The sacred is characterized by the confusion of all the codes. The Sacred provides separate spaces with respect to the profane world: they are called temples, churches, mosques and other recognized and internalized spaces. If we want to say what it is, and we want to try a definition, we can say that the Sacred is the place of contamination of opposites. Somehow its configuration is that of being undifferentiated, in the world of the undifferentiated there is no possibility of cohabitation nor any possibility of dialogue, because things are ambivalent, they play on many registers, there is no definition of what's this.

Sacro è una parola indoeuropea che vuol dire "separato". Il sacro è caratterizzato dalla confusione di tutti i codici. Il Sacro prevede degli spazi separati rispetto al mondo profano: si chiamano templi, chiese, moschee e altri spazi riconosciuti e interiorizzati. Se vogliamo dire che cos'è, e vogliamo tentare una definizione, possiamo dire che il Sacro è il luogo della contaminazione dei contrari. In qualche modo la sua configurazione è quella di essere indifferenziato, nel mondo dell'indifferenziato non c'è alcuna possibilità di convivenza e neppure nessuna possibilità di dialogo, perché delle cose sono ambivalenti, giocano su molti registri, non c'è una definizione delle cose.
