Trasformazioni urbane nella ex periferia industriale di Brescia : nuovo polo per servizi universitari in via Triumplina

I started from the analysis of the current situation of the Brescian universities, Università degli Studi di Brescia e Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, to see how many students needed a secondary residence where they could tackle their secondary studies path. The problem arises both from the lack of beds and from the lack of public spaces for study and the needs of the students themselves. The solution to this problem is feasible through the design of a student residence, with annexed student services, which can be built in the abandoned area that belonged to the former Hydra Presse of 44801 square meters, adjacent to the University of Engineering, also using the PGT of Brescia which assumed the creation of areas destined to social aggregation, for this reason, in the planned structure, in addition to the canonical services necessary for the students present in the structure itself, areas destined to the social community were hypothesized as an auditorium, restaurant, bar , gym, meeting area, equipped green areas.

Sono partita dall'analisi della situazione attuale delle università Bresciane, Università degli Studi di Brescia e Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, per vedere quanti studenti necessitavano di una residenza secondaria dove poter affrontare il loro percorso di studi secondari. Il problema nasce sia dalla carenza di posti letto sia dalla carenza di spazi pubblici adibiti allo studio e alle esigenze degli studenti stessi. La soluzione di questo problema è attuabile attraverso la progettazione di una residenza studentesca, con annessi servizi per studenti, edificabile nell’area dismessa che apparteneva all’ex Idra Presse di 44801 mq, adiacente all’ Università degli Studi di Ingegneria, utilizzando anche il P.G.T di Brescia che ipotizzava la creazione di aree destinate all’aggregazione sociale, per questo all’interno della struttura progettata, oltre ai servizi canonici necessari agli studenti presenti nella struttura stessa, si sono ipotizzate aree destinate alla comunità sociale come un auditorium, ristorante, bar, palestra, zona meeting, spazi verdi attrezzati.
