Sospeso. Un'esperienza a mezz'aria tra adrenalina e natura nelle terre di Vignale Monferrato

ABSTRACT SOSPESO has as its protagonist the former Cantina Sociale of Vignale Monferrato, symbol of an era that has disappeared over the years due to a change of mentality in the population, less predisposed to the sharing that once characterized Monferrato. The consequence of this was the failure of the Cantina Sociale and many other realities that were based on sharing and mutual help. The population of Vignale Monferrato sees in the cellar the failure of this social economy, for this reason it was decided to give it new life, totally changing the destination of use. The symbol of the former winery, the vinaria tower, houses the decantation cells, where the must was pumped, to then be made to flow in gravity once fermented. Characterized by a void that runs the entire height of 25 meters, up to the top floor of the same, where you have a 360 degree view of the Monferrato hills and the village of Vignale Monferrato, the tower was the fulcrum of the idea design, where the importance of maintaining its identity is evident. In this building there will be an activity able to attract a new type of people, coming from a very large area, as a free fall simulator will be positioned, which will work with the Casale Monferrato airfield ensuring a constant influx of users. This activity will not be the only one that will be included in the project but part of a context of re-use of the entire complex, which will include the redevelopment of all the buildings of the former Cellar and of 14 hectares of land located in the immediate vicinity of the same. The crops that will be present will be collected, stored, processed and sold within these buildings; the warehouse will be located in the building to the east, the food processing rooms below the circular roof adjacent to the restaurant that will extend to the building to the north, where a space will be placed for artists and music from the alive, while in the building to the west an eno-pub. The open spaces characterized by the presence of pergola modules, will act as a binder with all the activities present

ABSTRACT SOSPESO ha come protagonista l’ex Cantina Sociale di Vignale Monferrato, simbolo di un’era ormai scomparsa negli anni a causa di un cambio di mentalità nella popolazione, meno predisposta alla condivisione che un tempo ha caratterizzato il Monferrato. La conseguenza di questo è stato il fallimento della Cantina Sociale e di molte altre realtà che si basavano sulla condivisione e sull’aiuto reciproco. La popolazione di Vignale Monferrato vede nella cantina il fallimento di questa economia sociale, per questo è stato deciso di ridarle nuova vita, cambiando totalmente la destinazione d’uso. Il simbolo dell’ex Cantina, la torre vinaria, ospita le celle di decantazione, dove veniva pompato il mosto, per poi essere fatto defluire a gravità una volta fermentato. Caratterizzata da un vuoto che percorre l’intera altezza di 25 metri, fino all’ultimo piano della stessa, dove si ha una vista a 360 gradi sulle colline del Monferrato ed il paese di Vignale Monferrato, la torre è stata il fulcro dell’idea progettuale, dove evidente è l’importanza di mantenere l’identità della stessa. In questo edificio sarà collocata un’attività in grado di attirare una nuova tipologia di persone, provenienti da un’area molto vasta, in quanto verrà posizionato un simulatore di caduta libera, che collaborerà con il campo volo di Casale Monferrato garantendo un afflusso costante di utilizzatori. Questa attività non sarà l’unica che verrà inserita all’interno del progetto ma parte di un contesto di riutilizzo dell’intero complesso, che comprenderà la riqualificazione di tutti gli edifici dell’ex Cantina e di 14 ettari di terreno posizionati nelle immediate vicinanze della stessa. Le colture che saranno presenti verranno raccolte, stoccate, trasformate e vendute all’interno di questi edifici; il magazzino sarà posizionato nell’edificio posto ad Est, i locali per la trasformazione dei cibi al di sotto della copertura circolare in adiacenza con il ristorante che si estenderà fino all’edificio a Nord, dove verrà collocato uno spazio utilizzabile per artisti e musica dal vivo, mentre nell’edificio ad Ovest un eno-pub. Gli spazi aperti caratterizzati dalla presenza di moduli pergolati, fungeranno da legante con tutte le attività presenti.
