Our thesis project revolves around the fact; almost most of the companies who completely outsource the entire finished product will have high focus on the cost optimization, production capabilities of supplier, Global Supply chain, quality and delivery time. Our analysis begins with having the comparison of suppliers for each commodity by using the last three months of evaluation on the scorecard. To make the low cost of the buying with high quality of the product, the company has decided to source the heavy structural fabricated steel like chassis/Turrets, Telescope, Booms and Swivel joints. Latterly, the company also decided to source the cast iron products such as counterweights and Oxycut counterweight from foundries and heavy fabricated sheet metal parts such as body cover for the AWP vehicles and hydraulic tanks. Our analysis starts from justifying the supplier who has capable of doing the mass production, higher turnover, experience based on the highly renounced customer such as railways, forklifts and cranes customer. If the supplier has these capacities then he must sign NDA agreement created by Haulotte Group before I propose them with drawings, specification and requirement list. The requirement list has been created based on the budget created for bill of materials (BOM) for the next year 2019. If mutually the NDA agreement is signed by the concern supplier and Haulotte, they are provided with all the necessary documents to make request for quotation (RFQ). The quotation in which the Haulotte will always expect with FOB or DAP. If some supplier could not make the quotation with dap, the company will expect the quotation with CIF. The most precious way for finding the suppliers can be made by attending the trade fair show in India. Finally, the company has decided to source the fabricated steel parts, cast iron and fabricated sheet metal parts from India by beginning of the year 2019. The company has also decided to find two suppliers from India for each commodity such as heavy structural fabricated steel parts, counterweights and fabricated sheet metal parts and only one supplier could be sufficient for the producing the hydraulic tanks. Since the requirement for the hydraulic tank is just 50% share for the supplier in India. Also, the Haulotte has decided to obtain the supplier preferably in the coastal region, because the logistic cost would be reduced.
Il nostro progetto di tesi ruota intorno al fatto; quasi la maggior parte delle aziende che esternalizzano completamente l'intero prodotto finito sarà fortemente focalizzata sull'ottimizzazione dei costi, sulle capacità di produzione del fornitore, sulla catena di fornitura globale, sulla qualità e sui tempi di consegna.
