In this Growing digital world, Technology has a huge impact on business and society. The current business practices would be impossible without the part of Information technology. Many companies transform every part of their process to keep them upgraded. Here, the rate of change is ever demanding, and this scenario is peculiarly relevant in the Information Technology industry where old technologies have to be replaced while existing ones require continuous upgrade to meet the ever-increasing demanding regulations. Every business must adapt change management process to be in pace in this competing world. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is a framework that was created with the goal of reducing costs and to manage IT service delivery in a better way. However, implementing ITIL in an organization is not easy and it is common that ITIL implementations guidelines are hard to understand. This report is a brief write up on the Implementing ITIL change management process in an Organization and supported by the practical knowledge gained during my work experience at Wipro Technologies, India. The basic concepts of change management process are understood to get a clear-cut idea about the successful implementation of the ITIL in any organization. This paper will focus on the change management methodologies employed in a leading organization – WIPRO TECHNOLOGIES in the field of information technology.
In questo mondo digitale in crescita, la tecnologia ha un enorme impatto sul business e sulla società. Le attuali pratiche commerciali sarebbero impossibili senza la parte della tecnologia dell'informazione. Molte aziende trasformano ogni parte del loro processo per mantenerle aggiornate. Qui, il tasso di cambiamento è sempre esigente e questo scenario è particolarmente rilevante nel settore dell'Information Technology in cui le vecchie tecnologie devono essere sostituite mentre quelle esistenti richiedono un aggiornamento continuo per soddisfare le sempre più esigenti normative. Ogni azienda deve adattare il processo di gestione del cambiamento per essere in pace in questo mondo in competizione. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) è un framework creato con l'obiettivo di ridurre i costi e gestire l'erogazione dei servizi IT in modo migliore. Tuttavia, implementare ITIL in un'organizzazione non è facile ed è normale che le linee guida per l'implementazione di ITIL siano difficili da comprendere. Questo report è una breve descrizione del processo di gestione dei cambiamenti ITIL implementato in un'organizzazione e supportato dalle conoscenze pratiche acquisite durante la mia esperienza lavorativa presso Wipro Technologies, India. I concetti di base del processo di gestione del cambiamento sono intesi per ottenere un'idea chiara circa l'implementazione di successo dell'ITIL in qualsiasi organizzazione. Questo documento si concentrerà sulle metodologie di gestione del cambiamento impiegate in un'organizzazione leader - WIPRO TECHNOLOGIES nel campo della tecnologia dell'informazione.
