Abstract
Over the past few years, Electric vehicles have become a fundamental part of the automotive industry. We are trying to look for a future more safe, less dependent on fossil fuels, with a reduction of environmental impacts. The first part of this thesis is focused on the main features of a smart highway. Than Charging stations are discussed in detail, with a particular attention on existent protocols. The aim of this work is to realize an algorithm for optimization of recharging stops during a complete trip from Toronto to Ottawa along ON 401 Highway. Through the analysis of simulation data, this paper examines the difference in terms of times between some selected electric vehicle and standard petrol/diesel one.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
